Life Goes on in Infanta and Gen. Nakar, Quezon
Senator Richard J. Gordon, chairman of the Philippine National Red Cross (PNRC) distributes 75 carabaos and 86 fishing boats to residents of the towns of Real, Infanta and General Nakar in Quezon Province that suffered two twin typhoons in November 2004. Gordon said that the PNRC would also provide a cash-for-work program to provide those without livelihood with sources of income through productive work. Although almost two years have passed since the typhoons hit the area, the residents in the three towns have not yet fully recovered from the damage they suffered.
